On January 25, 2016 I underwent an operation for a triple heart bypass, which is open heart surgery. Four days later, I had a second operation to implant a pacemaker in my chest. I have been told that my recovery will take one to three months. No driving, no riding in cars except to doctors' appointments, down the stairs only once a day, up the stairs only once a day, etc. Many, many doctors' appointments as well.
I have never had such major surgery. It feels like a truck ran over me, and about all that I can do is take it easy and rest, and eventually I will be better. So that is what I have decided to do. I am not sure if or when I will return to updating this web site each month, which has been a joy for me the past 20+ years. We will see as time goes on.
